PIN and UID

Personal Identification Number (PIN)
Your PIN is initially your birth month and birth date.  The first time you access your "My Info" channel of iCampus, it must be changed to any four digit number except your birth month and birth day.  Afterward, at any time you choose, you may change your PIN by accessing the iCampus Portal and by following the instructions.  If you forget your PIN, bring your photo I.D. to the SSRC or fax (309) 438-8652 to the Student Service and Referral Center (Moulton Hall 107), a written request to default your PIN (click on "Request for PIN Default" PDF) to the month and day of your birth.  You must include your name, University I.D. (UID), date of birth, your signature and a photocopy of your University identification card.

University Identification Number (UID)
The University Identification Number (UID) is the best and most effective way to uniquely identify you for the purpose of accurately processing and maintaining your educational records. This number is used as the student identification number and is restricted to internal University use. For any reports required by the Federal or State Government, and for the following: matching admission applications with ACT or GRE scores, matching admission status with financial aid, and for providing loan verification, we must use your social security number. For additional information or limited access of your social security number and/or UID, please contact the Office of the University Registrar, 107 Moulton Hall, Campus Box 2202, Normal, IL 61790-2202 or (309) 438-2188 prior to the tenth day of class.
