Be sure to complete and submit the Undergraduate Application for Graduation before the deadline.

Graduation Information

All students must apply for graduation by completing the Undergraduate Application for Graduation. The application must be on file and the graduation fee must be paid by the deadline to be considered a candidate for degree as well as to participate in the commencement ceremony.

Many students confuse graduation with the commencement ceremony; they are not the same. Graduation is the official granting of a degree after having met all degree requirements. Commencement is the ceremony recognizing any degree candidates for the current semester who choose to participate. Graduation does not take place until after the current semester’s grades are posted which actually occurs after the commencement ceremony.

For more information regarding the Commencement ceremony, please visit the Commencement website.

Undergraduates:

Submit an Undergraduate Application for Graduation along with the fee by the deadline date. Refer to the Important Dates for students for the deadline for submitting the application. The $25 graduation fee is required when applying for graduation, unless the fee is covered by an approved state or military scholarship. The application is available at either the Student Service & Referral Center located in 107 Moulton Hall, Student Accounts at 607 W. Dry Grove St., or online (pdf). Turn in the completed application and fee to Student Accounts or their mail slot on first floor Moulton Hall. Information regarding the application process can be found on the application itself.

Continue checking your Academic Progress Summary and meeting with your academic advisor to ensure you have completed your degree requirements.

Graduation for Graduate Level Students is facilitated by the Graduate School.

Specific catalog year requirements

Upon admittance to the University, students will be assigned a catalog year.  Students will be required to fulfill the graduation requirements specified in their assigned catalog.  As such, students do not need to obtain a different catalog for each year of enrollment.  Catalogs may be obtained at the Student Service & Referral Center located in 107 Moulton Hall.

The University is no longer mailing catalogs; online catalogs are available
